The budget has been altered to allow nearly one third of the spend to be on publicity … given how media has changed in the past two years, the scope given is now much greater, and a progressive strategy has been put in place with the marketing of the Exhibition. A new website is under way and will be live shortly. Publicity and marketing has already started, an article in March’s "The Connexion" will be the first public information on the subject. Internet advertising, the written press, radio and TV are all going to be used, as well as some of the more modern media.

 

There will be opportunities to take up communication partnerships, all of which respond to the strategy of making this an excellent opportunity to "piggy back" on the advertising, marketing and information which will be disseminated far and wide. All of the resources of the FBCCI, the financing partners, the other partnerships, the FBCCI network and the members’ own networks will be brought into play.
