The need for this kind of exhibition clearly exists; figures show that, with over 270,000 passengers into Bergerac Airport alone, 40% of the British population in Aquitaine residing in the Dordogne and over 600 British companies already trading in Dordogne (source: Chambre Économique report published in 2009), this kind of exhibition has a major attraction for businesses, entrepreneurs and "professions libérales" (translators, administrative assistance, etc.).

The economic impact of the Bergerac airport passenger flow (11 flights arriving from Great Britain and one from Belgium, another from Holland) is value at € 209 million per annum (excluding property transactions in the Dordogne and the neighbouring departments) (source: Observatoire de l’Impact Economique des Flux de l’Aéroport de Bergerac 2009). And, finally, a study carried out by Périgord Développement in 2007 with over 200 British companies located in Dordogne, highlighted that the most important barrier to success, after the language barrier (40%), was access to accurate and reliable information to understand who does what, where and how (30%). The study also showed that for 80 % of the businesses studied, there was a strong link between the kind of information they required to settle in the Dordogne, for both their private and business needs.
